LEGAL NOTICE


RUSHCREEK TOWNSHIP ZONING BOARD COMISSION will conduct a public hearing April 3, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. Purpose of the meeting is to complete recommendations to the Board of Trustees regarding: Conditional use language updates for cemetery(s) in Zoning Resolution, and an addition to the Zoning Resolution addressing Solar Energy. The meeting will be held in the Township Fire House meeting room, 201 Marietta Street, Bremen, Ohio.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

ROAD CLOSURE: RUSHCREEK TOWNSHIP

The Fairfield County Engineer's Office is announcing that the following road will be closed for the following dates listed below:

 

  • Tent Church Road NE (TR 364) will be closed Monday, March 31, 2025, through Friday, April 18, 2025, to remove and replace a culvert, weather permitting.
  • This closure will take place on Tent Church Road NE, between West Rushville Road NE and Tent Road NE.
  • Construction will take place between the addresses of 6400 and 6345 Tent Church Road NE.

NOTICE TO BID


The Rushcreek Township Trustees are accepting sealed bids for approximately 2000 ton of  #8 Cracked gravel  delivered to 213 Marietta Street, Bremen, OH.  Stone billed separately and hauled from OLEN Corporation 4755 S. High Street, Columbus, OH.  Bid must include current BWC certification, unless owner/operator, along with proof of insurance. 

 

Bid must be received by
6:30 p.m.  April 16th, 2025. 

Bid opening will be held April 16th,  at 7 P.M. at the regular board meeting.  Details regarding the bid can be obtained by calling (740) 569-7181 ext. 11.   Rushcreek Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids.

NOTICE TO BID


The Rushcreek Township Trustees will be accepting sealed bids for 2025 chip seal project of approximately 12.80 miles single seal and 2.4 miles of DOUBLE seal road in Rushcreek Township. 

 

Sealed bids must be received by:
6:30 pm,  April 16, 2025.  

All Bids must include valid BWC and insurance certificates.  Successful bid will be required to execute a hold harmless agreement with. Trustees reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids.  Detailed bid information can be obtained by contacting Rushcreek Township Road Department at 740-569-7181 Ext. 11. Bid opening will be held April 16, 2025 at 7 P.M. at the regular board meeting.

ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT


OF RUSHCREEK TOWNSHIP


The 2024 Annual Financial Report for Rushcreek Township was filed with the Auditor of State on 01/13/2025. The report is available for public viewing by contacting the Township Fiscal Office for an appointment at (740) 569-7181 Ext. 10.

Rushcreek Township Trustees hold regular monthly meeting at 7 P.M. on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month at 213 Marietta Street, Bremen. The public is invited to attend.
